A reminder.
On April 1, 2013.....
British Columbia goes from HST back to GST.
This is the result of a province wide vote that forced the government of British Columbia to go back to a separation of the PST from GST... No more HST
Prince Edward Island becomes an HST province with HST equal to 14 %, a combination of a provincial rate of 9 % and GST equal to 5 %.
This is a big change for someone that ships a lot of items to British Columbia....
Although Prince Edward Island will be an HST province, its size... population... does not make this change as great a change compared to Ontario and British Columbia going from GST to HST a few years ago.
