Has anyone received a discount on their eBay fees?

I understand this was the first month we should have received a discount on our eBay fees. Is this right?

I checked my rating and found I only rated 4.7 on shipping time and 4.7 on shipping charge. That is funny because I ship within 24 hours and charge below cost.

If your billing date is the 1st you should have had two invoices subject to possible discounts

If your billing date is the 15th, your second one should be showing up right now (or maybe Monday)

Refer to the Sellers Dashboard to see if you received a discount on your last invoice.

I am confused again, At the seller discount control panel it gives me this notice "here is a copy and past"

You earned a 15% PowerSeller discount
A 15% discount off your Final Value Fees is applied to the invoice dated below.

Applied to invoice: 15/05/08
You are at risk of losing your 15% discount.
You earned your PowerSeller discount on 11/05/08

The part I do not Understand is that I am risk of losing my 15% discount.

I am I missing something, there is no explanation only a yellow flag?

Does anyone know what ebay means "at risk of losing 15% discount"

why cant thing like this and others be just made clean and simply to understand, why must I play the guessing game all the time"

It would mean that you are close to the 4.8 and if it drops below 4.8 to 4.7 you would not be entitled to the 15% discount, you would not fall in to the category of the 5% discount. Hope that helps.:-)

Hi rockyeb220,

That warning has been placed there so that you are aware that YOU MIGHT not retain your 15% discount on YOUR NEXT invoice that comes out in June.

Their statement could have been worded better as it is encouraging in a negative way. However, it is a reminder that you could *slip* and not receive your 15% discount on your NEXT invoice in June.

Personally, as a retired teacher I would have worded it, "You've done great! Continue to work hard to maintain your 15% (or 5%) discount!"

Hope this helps!

Thank you

You are 110% correct, That's how I Felt instead of being rewarded I got a yellow flag lol

it's like will catch you and fine you next month, Just goes to show you the greed behind it all, and who ever designed that flag must feel like we are spending his or her money

oh well that's life in the big City 🙂
