I'm putting this on the Canadian Board because they won't jump all over me for it...once again, no paypal logos are coming up on my .ca listings, and I want them there...lately almost all of my buyers are Canadian...this is hurting! And, if possible, I'd like the big paypal logo on my .com ones as well!
What can I do to correct this, or better, what can you do?

When you go to PayPal, under profile, Auction Accounts,does it say "yes" under automatic logo insertion?

I think this preferences process may have been recently updated. It was a page that you read when you logged on to PayPal.

Try it out.

Have you tried emailing Damon? He is very very helpful, and very quick getting back to you. You might want to try that. GOOD LUCK!!

I don't list on ca either, I list on .com, but the logos aren't coming through on the ca listings, just the .com ones...

I think i know the answer...paypal recently sent out a communication via e-mail stating that if you did not choose paypal as a payment option in the ebay listing itself, then they would not be able to do the automatic logo insertion into your auctions. (i received it as i had loaded a few listings with turbo lister that didn't have paypal checked, when normally they all do)

Since ebay.ca does not offer paypal as a payment option in the listing itself, then you automatically cannot have the logo inserted, as you don't meet the new criteria.

Solution i guess is to list on .com. We do.

Hi, I do list on ebay.com....and my logos are showing up there, just not on my listings if I go in through ca...so that means that anyone who browses on ca won't see a paypal logo...cuts down on potential business!

Can't you just insert the paypal logo into your template via HTML?

Thanks, I just did that, and it worked fine, but a bit of a pita...I hope that they fix this "glitch" soon!

I just insert it in my template. It works so well and I never have to worry if it is there or not. Also looks so much neater that way. I do not like the clutter of auto insert. Now your auction looks so much better and if you do it right in the beginning when you list, again it will look even a bit more better. JMO.

Sounds good, Don...do I have to copy and paste it right when I do it? If so, just the way that I did to get it into my current auctions?
And what about your buyer notifications...are they going out okay, or are you having to send them manually, too?

Just paste it at the end of your description, but leave a break between it and your description. Have a look at mine and you will see how it can look. Just blends right into the auction. If you need extra help with it just email me directly and I will try to write the code for you.
