Hi,
I bought an item at the end of Aug, it didn't fit me so I told the seller I was going to return it. She agreed to it so I sent it back in Sep.
I've sent 4 emails asking her if she's got the item so that I can get my money back. No answer so far!!
I have the receipt from the postal office but unfortunately I didn't pay for a tracked package. Although if she wouldn't have received it, she would have said something after my 1st email. Dont you think? even on my last email I said that if she didn't reply I was going to open a case and still no asnwer...
What can I do? please advise.
Thanks.

I don't think you can do too much more. If you open a case with eBay or PayPal they are going to ask you for your tracking number which you say you don't have. Returning the item without tracking is fine as long as your seller is honest but if they are not replying to your emails I honestly think they are just ignoring you. Sorry, I hope the item was not an expensive one because I think you are out the item and the money now. If it isn't worth returning with tracking you are probably better off just reselling it yourself on eBay.

Yeah, returns should always be tracked. Sigh.
If you back your Paypal account with a credit card, you can go to the 1-800 number on the card and ask the clerk about a chargeback for non-delivery.
The card may accept proof of shipping.
PP and eBay only accept proof of delivery.
Since overseas tracking/PoD is very expensive, it is wise to consider the possiblity of buying unreturnable garbage when buying from outside North America. Actually that also goes for the USA, although tracking to the States is somewhat cheaper.

Just a quick question, is there anything that can be done about the seller in terms of feedback? I was so stupid to provide a good feedback as soon as I got the item not knowing I will run into this issue now.
Can further feedback be added to her profile?
Thanks for your help!

Yes. But it's also 'sort of'.
You can add a Response to any feedback-- yours or the seller's.
Like the most effective feedback, the best Responses are calm and factual.
Responses do not change the seller's FB percentage, but they show up on a page and are probably read more often than actual feedback is.
