How to ship Turtle Beach x12 Headphones?

I plan to sell my turtle beach x12s on ebay in the original packaging, I'm debating if I should just ship the item in the packaging as it is secure, or to put the item in another box and ship it like that?

I don't think the headphones will get damaged if they are shipped in just the packaging, however I'm not sure if Canada post will allow it.

Please share your opinions on this matter,

Often when I buy something in its original packaging, I want the condition of the original packaging preserved, if I plan to keep the packaging and not just toss it into the trash.  I'd check with a buyer and not just send it that way in case the buyer had keeping the packaging in mind.

needed more edit time -- Regardless, the box looks like it would squash if I sat on it.  That's a sort of rule of thumb, and also would you feel OK with it being dropped or having pounds of other packages plopped onto it.

I would definitely put them in another box for shipping.
