Out of th blue, it's back. I can see View Item purchased in customers feedback. Great! I hated the hidden items and now you get a better idea on what kind of customers you're attracting. It helps when you're bidding too. .Ebay got this one right.
My guess is, as with the feedback dates showing for a day or two the other week, what you are seeing is unintentional and will most likely go poof as fast as it appeared.
