I NEED YOUR HELP !!

I have been listing on EBAY under auction style format. And we list on regular basis over 500 auctions weekly on permenant basis. But lately trafic on EBAY has been VERY quiet for us (and auction style fees very expensive don't think we can keep doing this). I am looking at different options for listing on EBAY.

I was looking at the Ebay store listing option which cost only 2 cents per listing (and last 30 days) BUT does not show on Ebay seaches. Are there any ways or suggestions to make items appear on searches using this store format ? We already have an Ebay store(basic) but we list under auction style.

Any suggestions or help to make us save money and improve sales would be very much appreciated ??

My two cents is this.....Keep about 10 - 15 auctions running normally and list the rest in your stores. With the auctions running it will drive traffic to your store and buyers will see other items that you are selling. Keep in mind as well it is summer and sales are dismal at best anyways. This method has worked for me when I was running a store, other than that I am tapped out for ideas. 😄

Store listings will show up in the auction search results when their are less than 10 auction items results from the search. So you will get some coverage this way. Store listings will also show up in google and froogle results. I also like to do it the way sunset does, have the auctions drive the store traffic, it works most times but it is summer and sales are slow right now for most sellers.

I have always used the strategy that Sunset suggested but with a larger volume of auctions for the items that always sell. 90% of the time people BIN from my store rather than bid on an auction...

Also if you can, focus on building the numbers in your store categories as when potential buyers search by store category the sellers with the most items in their respective categories show up at the top of the list.

To expand on value's suggestion, did you select the option to let search engines detect your store items? I seem to get lots of hits from this feature...

You can also promote your eBay stores email newsletter feature and alter your cross promo items and do a promotion on your best selling items. If you have any items that cater to the summer season I would focus on these...

Hope some or any of these suggestions can be of help!

I agree with Sunset. I have no less than 14 links back to my store from my auction pages.
