I suspect the problem is that you accidentally listed on eBay dot com instead of eBaydotCA - on the US site rather than the Canadian site.
Cut and paste your description on to a text document. If you don't have the picture saved, make a new one.
End the dotCOM listing.
Now go to the dotCA site- check the bar at the top of the page to make sure you are on the right site.
Now.
Fill in the listing as before. You can paste the description right into the text box. (If you want to modify it, go ahead. I can see a couple of tweaks, but... later.)
Now Give Buyers Shipping Details.
The first is Domestic Shipping. Choose Canada LetterMail and click on the Free Shipping box. Taaa- DAH!
Next is International Shipping.
Choose Custom Location.
First one is United States. Enter the Flat Rate you plan to charge.
Then see the Offer Additional Service? Click on it and choose Custom Location again.
Pick a few countries (I'd suggest sticking to United Kingdom for your first few sales if you sell overseas at all).Don't click on USA again. Don't click on N&S America.
Enter the amount it will cost to mail your item overseas. The $4.99 you specify will carry a LetterPost package less than 2 cm thick and 100grams. If your item weighs more, consult canadapost.ca for shipping rates.
Or use Calculated for all foreign shipping, including USA. You can include LetterPost if the package is under 2cm.
And then complete the form.
For Additional Ship To Locations- just leave it at Worldwide. No details. If you want to ship worldwide at this point.
Take your time and don't worry. Right now there is a listing promotion going on and the site is awash with competitors . If nothing goes up for a week it won't hurt your sales. Really.
Do NOT choose UPS. Especially at $2.99. That is waaay less than any of their services and if you advertise UPS and the buyer chooses it, you cannot use anything else.
Don't panic.
