I won an item recently - I really need it to fix my business' computer by Boxing Day in Canada (December 26th). The seller hasn't dealt too many items yet but he had a perfect score. It was a "Buy Now" item and my payment for the item went through Paypal as normal last Friday. (December 4th)
Today, I got a message from eBay that the item had been removed, and that I had won it, and if the payment had gone through, I didn't need to do anything.
Okay... I don't really understand why the item was removed, do all items get removed after a few days someone won it? I literally have never bought anything on eBay before this.
And then eBay told me as the payment went through, I should expect the item, but then immediately told me to use the conflict resolution center if the item does not arrive. Uh... the page isn't there any more so I don't know what the maximum time limit I should give for its arrival. If I knew that the seller made a mistake, I would hopefully get my money back and I will try to find it somewhere else because I need the specific computer part, but now I don't have the money, nor do I know why the item was removed, but I'm still supposed to expect it? There's a lot of mixed messages and I'm not sure if this is same message everyone gets when they win an item.
I contacted the seller last Friday with some shipping tidbits. I haven't heard back from him yet. His account is still there and he still has a perfect score, so I don't think anything is wrong with his account and eBay.
I contacted him again today wanting clarification, I hope to hear back from him, but I really, really, need a resolution soon, I have no idea what is going on.

If you paid via paypal the transaction details should still be showing there.
You have 180 days from time of payment to file a paypal claim of item-not-received
If the transaction is not showing on ebay in your Purchase History, then paypal is the only way to proceed. If the transaction is in your eBay Purchase History you can make an INR claim for up to 30 days after the last estimated day of arrival.

But I can no longer see the estimated delivery time. But I do remember that it said that Seller ships in ten days, and that the package would be shipped through USPS priority international which gives tracking number. Should I jump on the gun after ten days have passed since payment (Dec. 4th) and I haven't received the tracking number? He is not even responding to my inquiries, and his account is still here.

Patience.
You paid last Thursday.
The seller may be away for all we know. This is December and folks travel.
Do not worry so much.
Give it ten full days before contacting that seller again.
