I find it weird and on several items its the same bidder ? Do companies & sellers do this so the bids keep going higher ?? If so can they do that ? Isn't that like rigging an auction ??
If you are being immediately outbid, then there is a bid already in place...you just missed seeing it. And its called proxy bidding....check out info on bidding here....
