I bought an item and more than 10 more available and now seller says he should have item in by next week.

I bought an item that was one of 10.  I got an email stating that the item was shipped and now I recieved an email from the buyer stating:

"But we're sorry to inform you that:
This item is currently out of stock, and the next shipment will be here in next week. Please let us know:
If you want us to give you full refund right now, or you can kindly wait till it comes."

Shouldn't the item be available if you are selling it on ebay????

The seller is dropshipping and does not know what his supplier's stock is like at any given time, nor can he be sure when, if ever, the product can be supplied.

It is also possible that he has never seen the item and has no idea what he is actually selling.

Get your refund and leave appropriate feedback and Detailed Seller Ratings. A normal completed transaction would get Five Stars while the lowest DSR is ONE star for communication, description, prompt shipping and shipping cost.
