I have an open case and seller has twice offered to resend the item saying I will receive it in 10 days. Should I accept the resend?

I have an open case and the seller has twice offered to resend the item, also saying I will recieve it in 10 days.  Should I accept the offer to have it resent to me?  Will the case automatically be closed then or does paypal keep the case open until I actually receive the resend?  I prefer a refund as I am unsure about receiving the item.

Don't accept the seller's offer. There is a good chance that a resent item would never arrive and, yes, accepting the seller's offer to resend the item would close the dispute, which is what the seller is counting on. This means that you cannot re-open the dispute when the supposedly re-sent item never arrives.

Do not close the dispute until after you have your full refund. Your seller is trying to stall or make you close the case (which cannot be reopened) and still not send item.

Non paying buyers deserve unpaid item strikes.
