XE has some very helpful currency converters: http://www.xe.com/.
There are many, many other sites, so this is only one.

What exactly do you need to know?
The current rates published by companies like xe.com are useful, but they are not what you will pay if you take cash to your bank and buy another currency.
Not only will the bank (or credit union or currency shop) charge you a service fee, but the rates will vary from bank to bank to credit union to currency shop.
A friend who owned a currency shop once bought a large amount of Greek drachmas (obviously some time ago). He was able to purchase the notes at an excellent rate and have them shipped to Canada. He had been promised that a high school which was doing a class trip to Greece would have him recommended, and in return, he had a better rate than any bank in Ottawa or Montreal.
Then the class trip was cancelled.
Boy, could you buy drachmas from him at a good rate for the next four months!
When you move US dollars from your Paypal account to you Canadian bank account there is a service fee.
Paypal does charge you to move US dollars to your US-denominated Canadian bank account.
There is a service fee for accepting Paypal payments from overseas.
