I am trying to verify my account with my bank account and it asks for a SORT CODE........ I put in my banks transit # and it wanted the box beside it filled in too,, I guess, so the bank person told me 003 is the canada code.. It still didnt like it.. there is no live chat, and I just spent 15 minutes on the Ebay help Merry-go-round.. and I don't want to use my precious cell phone minutes on hold.....................................

Hi.. I have never added a bank account to eBay as an automatic payment. Sort number in Canada is transit number (5 digits) . 003 is the institution # (RBC)

I'm not sure why you are having a problem. Must have a PayPal account with credit card and bank added. Why not select PP as an alternative or your credit card.

Can use contact us and call. Perhaps a Rep can help sort it out.
