e-bay name.date of sale and item number.I can click on the item title but nothing happens. I keep my purchase ads because I can go into the invoice and click on the detail button and instantly down-load the whole listing with all the vendor's photos and commentary; now even the invoices are gone. I didn't 'touch' anything. Question. Can I use the item number to find the original sale ? or is it just gone-----

Hi .. I just checked your history and can see 10 items between June 16-24. You can do the same and view.. advanced search at top.. by bidder..enter your ID and check box for completed items. Can view from there or item # in search. If you can view all is ok.

My first thought was you archived from recent in purchase history but doesn't sound like what you are describing.

Its Friday and eBay does maintainance at weeks end. Often creates unusual temporary glitches that will return to normal.

If you were looking for older items over 90 days old you won't find any of the detailed info and photos. eBay purges completed listings after 90 days.after that all you will find in your purchase history is what you describe finding.

<<Question. Can I use the item number to find the original sale ?>>

I dunno, can you? 😄  One way to find out.  . . .

This happened on a Thursday evening, so I strongly suspect that's the problem.  Thursday evenings are not my favourite time to shop because of these kinds of glitches.  Site maintenance, I hear.

I once had the same thing you describe, and I continued fiddling and trying to find things, then some listings disappeared completely, I couldn't pay for an item, and eventually the whole thing disappeared until there was only the ebay logo and my user ID at the top of the page.  Discouraged, I went and watched a movie.  When I came back it was fine.

So if you find something wonky or your payments don't go through, especially if it's a Thursday, try again later.
