this is an actual friend...somebody you've met, in person...in real life.  there are an awful lot of scams out there....this sounds like it might be one of them.

Sellers lose their Seller Protection when they ship to other than your registered PayPal address and most will not do.

Also a new member which can add to seller's concern. Best to buy and reship to your friend.
