Hello,
A buyer purchased a "lot of 5 iPhone 4" from me early in February. The buyer received it on Feb. 11th, and nearly a week later said that 2 of the phones had issues. I offered her to return them for a refund, but she asked for a $85 CAD partial refund instead (cost was $419).
I said I would accept if she could send me video proof of the issues - and she sent me some, but even though we can't really tell much from them, I agreed to the partial refund out of good will and for the sake of avoiding hassles/moving on.
She seemed happy and gave me a good feedback. But then 3 weeks later, she now messages me saying that she has found more issues with the other phones and wants an additional $85 partial refund again.
I reply saying that the best I can do is send 35$ partial refund out of goodwill. I've tested the phones before shipping them and they all worked 100%, I've sold 66 units of these same phones from the same batch on here with no issues. I'm a bit skeptic that the phones have any issues. She's had them for a while now and I can't know what may have caused said issues (if they are real) within that time frame.
She replied standing her ground that she wants an $85 CAD refund. That is where I am now. She has received the phones 25 days ago. I don't really want her to send me back the phones at this point because I suspect her of damaging them herself (she mentioned "having to repair the phones with issues").
Do I have a leg to stand on if she escalates this to a case? Or should I just bow down and give her another $85 refund (I would do this if this was a one time thing - but what if other buyers start doing this. I have no defense?).
Thank you in advance for your help!

She's having trouble selling them is my guess.
"Return for refund of remaining original payment".
Rinse and repeat.

I was thinking the same thing.
