Item not as described 90 days past sale date, what can I do?

It is a game valued 600$ original seal. I personally could not tell a difference and bought the item. It turn out to be a reseal after I sent it off to VGA (official grading), which is why it took forever for me to find out ... this is a huge scam for hundreds. What can I do?

Did you contact the seller and see if they would do anything.

If you or the seller has left feedback you can update the feedback.

If you paid with a credit card you can try to do a chargeback

by calling the 1-800 number on the back of the card.

Have all your information handy for whoever answers your call.

If you didn't pay with a credit card you are out $600.00 bucks.

I did try to contact them. No response.

I have left feedback and I believe it's past the X days to be able to view / edit the listing - so I am unable to change the feedback. Item ID is 251420118507 and sale date is 20/01/14

I will try and phone my company see if I get it charged back... Thank you.

Just because I'm a nosy person, why would it be important that a game, which is meant to be played need to be graded for the seal?

Does this mean it loses value, like Barbies, if it is removed from the original packing?

How do you use a valuable game then? What's the point?

Do you have another copy that you actually play?

To name a few examples: OCD purposes, sense of pride, brag rights, perhaps just an appreciation for your favorite game or simply nostalgia that you want to cherish. To collect sealed (and graded) games is as much collecting as collecting vintage cars - some prefer it unused in a showcase, some prefer it usable in all 4 seasons. Grading them is emphasizing its mint condition collect to your desire. Although, most retro game collectors hate VGA with a passion because of its marketing and sky rocketing price changes.

I personally appreciate the showcase of an entire Zelda collection surrounding my TV. It demonstrates my enthusiasm towards the series.

Yes, I do have spare cartridges on the side to play them. 🙂
