I bought an item from seller from China. It was about half the price of same item I usually see other sellers sell for that item on

E-bay. So the item's price seem to good to be true.

I have bought it for a few days now, but item is not marked as shipped.

I e-mailed to seller in regards to this, but I get no reply.

The sellers user name seem to be random letters of alphabet.

I am concerned whether seller will send it out or not and whether it would be fraud ?

What should I do ?

When did you make the purchase? When did you pay for it? How much money is involved? What is the seller's feedback rating?

Made the purchase Oct.1, 2014 Paid for it on that date.

About US $4.00.

Seller messaged me back today saying shipped out 4 days ago.

But I did not get an e-mailed message in E-bay saying "Item Marked as shipped" like all previous purchases.

NOr when I go to "item view" on Android app it is not shown as "item shipped" like all other previous purchases I have done..

I complained to Pay Pal about it. They opened a dispute claim for me to help me resolve this matter..

It didn't get sent out until today. I got e-mail from E-Bay saying it was marked as shipped out on Oct. 10, 2014.

I doubt if they would have shipped it out if I didn't complain to Pay Pal about it.

I don't think they should have said they shipped it out already if they didn't and now take more than 1 week for E-bay e-mail message saying "Your item is marked as shipped".

If the item has not arrived by Day 40 (perhaps even Day 30) after purchase, escalate the Dispute and get your money back.

If the item then arrives, you can shock the begeebers out of the seller by refunding the refund, using Paypal's Send Money service.

You have a full 60 days to leave feedback and Detailed Seller Ratings. Take your time.

Reallynicestamps has given you good advice.

I just wanted to add that many of the items I purchase on eBay are never marked as Shipped and I've always received them. I'm not sure whether it's because the seller has not used PayPal to print the label or has not uploaded the shipping information to eBay. Don't lose hope yet -- you may well receive the package, and, as noted, you can always escalate the dispute. Fortunately, there's not a great deal of money involved. Good luck!
