I ordered some items which ship from China. They were bid items, so first item listing ended May 8, last item ended May 13. I made payment May 14. It has been a month since payment date, but items not received yet. I contacted buyer who said items were shipped May 15 and that it takes 15-35 days shipping time from overseas, and to be patient waiting.
Question: do not want to submit complaint to resolution centre, since buyer did respond, but will the 45 day limit expire within which a case must be opened? Policy states a case must be made within 45 days of 'end of listing'. When there are multiple items, such as in my case, the 45 days started from May 8, correct?
Advise what to do in this case, please.

If you do not receive the item before the end of the dispute period, raise it to a claim because if that dispute closes and the item never comes, you as out of luck.
I believe they give you 15 days to dispute your transaction before being required to close it or raise it to a claim. (That would then give you 60 days before you are required to raise it to a claim; which if your item does not arrive after 60 days, it is not coming.)
Just be sure to explain to the seller of your situation and it will all work out.
