Hello everyone! Would anyone know why I would receive an email from eBay telling me I had lost a bid on a leather sewing awl that I wasn't even bidding on. I don't even have one in my watch list. I did purchase one of these items maybe about a year ago. I'm thinking it's just another eBay glitch!! It seems odd though. Thank you in advance for any information provided.

Hello 'mpit',
Delays happen, but a year? That is odd.
This is in your regular email, correct? When you hover your mouse over the 'sender'
portion, is it genuinely from ebay?
I'm assuming you clicked on it and read it already. Was there a date in the message?
If it genuinely from ebay then I suppose it is just a really weird but harmless glitch.
You can always forward it to spoof@ebay.com if it still leaves you uncomfortable.
They will tell you in an instant if it was real or not.
I don't like risks much, so if it was me and I had clicked on it or opened any links in it,
I would probably run my anti-virus programs, -- just to make myself feel better.

Report it to spoof@ebay.com
Assume it is a phishing /scam email and follow your usual protocol for this kind of fake.
