NDP Filibuster

All the CP Strike threads are so long, I just thought I would start a new one with what I heard on the noon news.  For the benefit of those who did not catch their local news, the NDP have stated that all of their 103 MP's will speak for 10 to 15 minutes on their objection to the return to work legislation, even though they can't win the vote.

Honestly, after years of the NDP pro-union, socialist agenda in Manitoba, now we have to listen to it at the federal level as well!!!

It's frustrating. I don't know if it will help but I did send him an email basically saying enough is enough and businesses have already lost enough money.

Waiting for the end of debate is frustrating.

That's at least 35 hours could be more depending on Q&A each speaker receives.

They all basically say the same thing: that they're sorry they can't attend the Quebec Holiday, they congratulate each other for their brilliant speeches, that they don't like the conservatives and blah, blah, blah

That's politics!

I think we heard enough, so lets move on!

It is embarassing.  And don't forget we pay them for this.
