Just formally announcing that I finally changed my eBay userid to resemble more closely my registered business name.

Didnt want people panicking thinking that there were 2 Malcolms now on the boards.

And the funny thing is Shoplineca has nothing in its name close to it being associated with anything musical.

That is because Shopline is a partnership with my son where we intend to bring in other product lines in time. We have tested a few on eBay but we have not been too pleased with the return so we adjust.

We have a Master crafstman/artist we are working with right now and will be testing some magnificent pieces that he makes from pocket humidors to armoires and carvings in the next few weeks.

The one thing that we do, as in our musical instruments, is we negotiate the international rights to market the products we represent so alot of work goes into the beginning relationships we develop with our suppliers.

Anyway, with a family all having a strong musical background, music will always be a major part of our business and our lives, even if it isnt evident in the name of our business or our eBay userid.

Each piece is hand crafted and stamped with the craftsman's stamp and will come with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.

His family (and of course the family name) has been in Canada for over 300 years, going all the way back to the Hudsons Bay Fur Traders.

What is really interesting is that he has never commercially sold any of his works but has displayed them from time to time at different showings.

We will test market different items to see what is best going to sell on eBay and then he will build up some inventories to meet demand. The goal is to have about 5 top items.

I have some other interesting projects with some very talented people I am also working with and may be introducing some of their pieces as well in time.

I'm in no rush, good things take time.
