Exactly same thing here... unreadable name and certifacte with stains that come from the other cheap letters...

Shows us that the only thing they want is our money... they dont care about us at all!

Hi again everyone,

I am still irked at how low eBay can be. They act like a poor company that can't afford to send out anything reasonable... give us a break!

We have earned our place as PowerSellers, now show us some respect.

I agree with the poor printing. What were you thinking Ebay by accepting this? Especially when the cards are to be mailed to customers?

Regarding the kit itself I think it was a very nice gesture. I wasn't expecting anything and although I won't use any of it (good printing or bad) I still thought it was the right thing to do and well received by the majority who received it.

Received my kit yesterday....surprised as I didn't expect to receive anything except another debit on my credit card.

To Ebay's defense, they probably farmed this out and are probably not even aware (although they probably are now) of the poor quaility of the printing, etc....

Jeff, I'm not sure I would agree with that.

In my experience this appears to be an "overprint". The initial printing of the cards (with perfs) and certificates is done by a legitimate outside print shop and then they are brought in for finishing. A database is used to insert the PS'ers names. As evidence... run you finger tips lightly across the words "To view my other items" and then across your User ID name and you will feel the difference. They were done by different printing methods.

If in fact eBay did use an outside service it is a company that is doomed to failure. Third party print shops generally would by reliant on quality workmanship for survival in a very competitve industry.

Bill....Ya I guess you are right.... Just hoping to give Ebay a plug so they would think I was a great guy, going to their defense and all and then silently cutting my fees by 50%.....

Guess its not gonna happen eh! (See the eh! just to confirm I'm Canadian)....
