Question for sellers shipping from USA

Hello,

I'm wondering if there's any way to download the Customs manifest form & then copy & paste my name & address & the buyers name, etc onto the form before I print it? It's such a PITA having to write everything by hand.

How does everyone else handle this?

I write my own all the time. But then again I don't ship too many packages down there.

I do ALL of my mailing from Michigan. Often I have 15 or more forms to fill out. Ohhh..my aching fingers. LOL

Up until 2 weeks ago I was allowed to list everything on one form. Now U.S Customs wants a form for each item, so I'm trying to find a way to simplify things. There has to be an easier way.

I was doing some research on shipping from the U.S. and I came across this:

It's a scanned manifest that someone converted it form-fillable Adobe Acrobat file. Hope this helps!

The form in the link will allow me to print on it but it's the wrong form. LOL Thanks for trying.

Well, I have the full version of Acrobat and I used to create forms all the time so tell me what box numbers need to be filled in and I'll see what I can do. I don't use this form now but probably will do so in the future so might as well do a fillable one up now.

Here's what I'm trying to do. I want to be able to pull that form up on my computer & then copy & paste my mailing address & the buyers mailing info onto the form before I print it. I'd also like to be able to copy & paste the current date for the day I print the forms. It would be great if I could copy & paste the item title as well, then all I'd have to do is sign it in 2 places. Am I dreaming? LOL

I have to fill in every space except for #1, 2, 13, 15 & 17.

If you can fix it so I can do that, Id be forever greatful. :-x

Okay, here it is, give it a try and see what you think. The only things I think I need to say is that the text will adjust in size to fit the fields, Tab will jump from field to field and Enter will add a line in the field you are currently in. I think this will save your aching fingers a bit 😉

Ok what I do is the following
I Use American Customs Single item Manifest
I then removed the lines with white paper and recopied it

I then print my customers address on the manifest


A single Item American Customs Manifest is line after line of addresses fir items under $200.00

Todd...I'm not sure what the American Customs Single item Manifest is. Is that the form with the carbon copy?The customs officers at my border crossing say I have to use the form Ernie helped me with.
