Small packet to USA - sudden change???

This morning all of my items listed that weigh between 1-2 kg cannot properly calculate shipping costs to USA.  When I go to the Canada Post site I see small packet air to USA now lists 1kg as the max weight.  My only option is Expedited Parcel which is twice the cost.  Anyone else notice this???

The maximum for Small Packet US... has always been 1.0 kg

For Small packet international it has always been less than 2.0 kg.

For as long as I can remember the small packet limit to the USA has been 1 kg.

The small packet limit to the rest of the world is 2kg.

I have been doing this for over a decade and the Small Packet limit to the USA has always been 1K.

The difference is not double. Depending on size, I see an increase of about $6.
