I'm suddenly having issues with eBay's quick lister. I sell on dot ca in US funds, and when I'm set to do a new listing, I usually just pull down one I've already listed by hitting the "Sell similar" button. Yet when the new draft page comes down it's reverted to CA $ as selling price. I can't seem to get it to stay in U flippin' S dollars. Advance is so time consuming. Why on earth is it changing suddenly? I've been doing it this way for eons. Frustrating as heck. Any thoughts? Have I missed a memo?

Thank you. and good grief. We can still sell in US using the advanced options, but it's so time-consuming. All this does is p-off sellers (like me) who have to jump through hoops to get a listing up in US funds. This isn't making our work easier. Whatever there reasoning, I've wasted a whole evening trying to figure out how to do it my old way.
Time to look at Turbo lister again. I forget why I left them; it was so long ago.

If you use relist instead of sell similar, the currency should stay the same as it was in the original listing.

The only way seems to be via recently sold listings. Everything else stubbornly reverts to CDN funds, even when revising reslisted items (although simple relists stay the same). I think the age of previous listings may play a role as well.

Relist does keep the currency, but it is my understanding that Sell Similar sets up a 'new' listing with somewhat better placement in Search.

Bulk relist converts everything to CDN funds also. and there is no way to bulk edit the listing back to US funds. So as far as I can tell if you want to use US funds you have to relist one listing at a time.
