The item I finally received does not match the seller's description nor does it work at all.

So the story is, I've ordered an item off a seller on ebay and it took over 30 days to arrive. So I choose to open a case for it as I did not see the item for around almost 2 months. I had a talk with the seller and they told me they would be sending another one, today I finally got it and opened it... Found myself again disappointed as it's not even working. Like it looks like it isn't damaged or anything. 

Now a few days or weeks ago, the case was closed because it said it's been over 30 days that I haven't replied or something. Which is not true. 

Now I can't even give the ebay seller a review or know how to contact them about this. 

What can or should I do? 

This is the first time something like this happened, so I'm a little lost. 
I tried reading about the money back guarantee, but I don't know how to start it.... When my item doesn't even appear in my bought item list anymore... 

Please help!

You only have 45 days from purchase to open a dispute. Once closed it cannot be reopened.

And what you got was no better than the original, plus you have no chance of appealing to PP or eBay for a refund.

You only have 60 days to leave feedback and the much more important Detailed Seller Ratings.

There is no reason to contact the seller.

 

Go to the credit card you really paid with. PP is just a mediator. Call the 1-800 customer service number and talk to the clerk about a chargeback.

Have all your paperwork ready : dates, transaction numbers, payments, currency to help here with your refund.

You may  be required to return the unsatisfactory products. You may be required to use a tracked service for this.
