WARNING = PayPal = Unauthorized Stolen Funds = Bank Funds ($’s)
====================================
My History:
I have been with eBay, since Dec. 1999.
I have been using PayPal, from the very beginning.
Due to the increase of credit card (#’s) number thefts,
I no longer use a registered “Credit Card” on my PayPal account.
My credit card supplier, has changed my credit card #’s twice, (x2),
due to internet card (#) thefts, from their own corporation.
I always make sure that I have enough funds ($’s) in my PayPal account,
before I make any eBay purchases.
If I require more funds ($’s) in my PayPal account, I will transfer funds ($’s),
from my private “home” bank account, to my PayPal account.
When I purchase an eBay item and do not have enough funds ($’s),
- PayPal will withdraw funds ($’s) from my private “home” bank account,
- after my approval, when item was purchased.
Special Note:
A financial eBay transaction, withdrawing funds ($’s) from my private “home” bank account,
is “always” approved by me first, (prior) before I send any payment ($’s) to the eBay seller,
or to send money /funds, ($’s) to my PayPal account.
====================================
My PayPal Theft:
Over a year ago, (2011), I purchased a computer firewall software. (Zone Alarm).
and I paid Check Point Software Technologies, using PayPal.
I recently received a PayPal bill of $55.00 from a software company, without my prior approval.
Some computer software companies, will place you on automatic “yearly” updates,
withdrawing the required funds ($’s), without your knowledge. (Fact).
After I directly “phoned” Check Point Software Technologies, (Zone Alarm),
I was able to receive my full PayPal refund.
-BUT-
PayPal has still withdrawn $55.00 from my private “home” bank account.
I no longer want these extra required funds ($’s) transferred from my private “home” bank account, to my PayPal (private) account.
I will be required to pay $17.00 for this electronic bank withdrawal. (Stop Payment).
====================================
PayPal Payment:
I paid the above software company, a one (x1) time payment, (only), using PayPal.
This was only a one time PayPal payment.
“NO” private information, was required or sent.
The required funds ($”s), were only sent to this software company.

When you purchase the software it would have been indicated , possibly in very small print, that this was a recurring payment
