What happens if I refuse to pay for an item I won the bid on?

I won the bid on an item.  It has a fairly hefty shipping cost, almost thirty dollars.  After I won the bid my husband urged me to do a Tarot card reading on whether I'd be happy with it.  The card reading said that no, it wouldn't work, the trip here would destroy its integrity.  Now I don't want to pay for it. 

What happens to my account, if anything if I don't pay?  I have never refused to pay before.

Well, basically the seller will open an Unpaid Item Dispute against you. If you still do not pay, you will get an Unpaid Item Strike.

Many if not most, sellers have automatic Blocks in place against bidder with UID strikes since we don't want to deal with flibbertigibbets who  don't bother reading the entire listing before bidding.

The seller will get his eBay fees back.

You will not be able to leave feedback for the transaction.
