What to do in this situation?

Had a purchase overnight, no instant payment. When I went to send an invoice, there were 2 payment options, both the same (it sometimes happens). When I deleted one and tried to send an invoice I get a message that it can't be sent and to contact the buyer via their email address, but that bounces back.

 

I got contact information in case the email address had changed, but the email address doesn't show up on that. Now what?

Yes, something strange is going on. I tried to send a revised invoice for multiple items on the 29th and it was as if it bounced around in the system and never got to the buyer. They ended up paying full shipping price and I have had to do a partial refund. I think they had problems paying at their end too.

 

If your buyers email address no longer works then really all you can do is contact ebay. I know, its a pain to have to do that. Have you tried sending the invoice through ebay.com and if that doesn't work try ebay.ca. again.

Had something like that happen on the 28th. It was like payment started but did not finish. It showed up the next morning. Happened to another seller I knew of, on the 28th. That was a week ago, though.

Thanks guys, .ca didn't work. I sent the buyer a message via "contact seller" and she wrote back and said that eBay wouldn't let her change her email address, which is strange. At least she got that message, so I don't understand why she can't receive an invoice.

I think that happened to be once before but I was able to send the invoice when I tried again later.

Did you try contacting the buyer through ebay messaging and are you certain that there isn't a payment already made in Paypal? (I'm sure that you checked but thought I would ask just in case. 🙂

Have you tried sending the invoice through ebay.com and if that doesn't work try ebay.ca. again.

 

You can only send an invoice on the site that you listed that item...at least that's how it has always worked for me.

No, there was no payment. If you click on Send invoice, if the payment i made, that will come up. I tried calling eBay, gave up after 30 mins of music, so I looked up how to change your email address and sent it through eBay message board, she must have got it because the payment just arrived. She is not a new buyer, over 700 feedback.
