Read feedback. Especially negative and neutral feedback.
Don't buy from Asia.
Don't buy from low feedback sellers. (under 100 sales).
By the way, you are covered by eBay, Paypal and your credit card against badly described items.

This might help too:
How to tell if you're buying genuine software
from
You can also report counterfeit software to Microsoft besides any protection ebay/paypal provide. See the relevant section from the second link or here.
If you really want to be sure buy from Microsoft Store directly. Anyone claiming free upgrades to Windows 10 should also know the offer ended and the only way to obtain said upgrade is to use an unofficial accessibility workaround. The upgrade also only works once per Windows 7/8 license, after which point later attempts to upgrade (using the unofficial workaround) will fail.
(the only good reason for Windows 10 is DirectX 12, which most likely won't apply to your laptop)

Allow me to also provide evidence of listings not located in Asia to steer clear of:
Here, and here, also here. The main problem is the OA seen in the certificate. This means this key was distributed from an OEM manufacturer with their hardware. It has previously been activated using a special OEM activation technique. You cannot activate it using any other disk besides an OEM Windows install disk. Most of these OEM machines came with a system restore disk rather than an actual install disk.
The point being the key is useless without the original hardware because it is an OEM SLIC activation. It is only legitimate when sold with the original hardware. It can only be activated again using the same OEM activation method which effectively means it's a violation of Microsoft terms.
It's also not in Asia.
