I was bidding on a cell phone from Hong Kong today. Purchased one in the early AM.  Tried to buy another in the PM. Up comes a message.  You can;t buy another item from the same seller in less than 10 days.  What is this nonsense. I have been on eBay since december of 1998 and it keeps getting worse.  I think it is time to delete my account if this is the case.  I always thought this was an open auction site.  guess not huh!  ootpik

Hi .. Not eBay .. seller has buyer requirements set to block more than 1, Seems a bit extreme but their choice..

Contact seller and ask that your ID be placed on their blocked bidder exemption list.

Go right ahead. No one is stopping you.

The seller placed the block of how many items a person can buy in a 10 days period. The block is across the board. It has nothing to do with how long you've been on ebay. It is for anyone who has already won within a 10 day period.

Maybe the seller has had a bad experience with someone who won several items in a short period of time and didn't pay so now they are limiting how many items a person can buy at one time.

Maybe if you ask, the seller will add you to their blocked bidder exemption list.

Non paying buyers deserve unpaid item strikes.
