can a buyer cancel the order if the order has been in the resolution centre for 3 days

after the buyer dosent pay then i put in the resolution centre  now he wants me to cancel the order,,is that possible

id cancel this order but will ebay pay me back the fees they took out for selling this item that is the question

No.

Once you have opened the Unpaid Item Dispute, the buyer can only pay or not pay. If he pays, fine, ship and leave positive or no feedback (depending on your mood). She can also leave feedback. and Detailed Seller Ratings.

If she does not pay, you get your selling fees back, she gets a UID Strike, and neither can leave feedback.

 

The choice of using a Mutual Cancellation is up to the seller. You can only have one or the other (MC or UID). If you had gone with the MC, she could agree promptly or ignore and the MC would close with you getting your selling fees back. Because both parties can leave feedback after a Mutual Cancellation, it is important only to offer these when the experience has been open and friendly.

 

If a buyer refuses an MC, the seller cannot open a UID. One or the other, one kick at the can.
