Well, I am wondering how it is possible for eBay to allow Buyers to negative feedback when a Seller can prove Shipping & Handling time fell within all suggested points and as listed according to eBay Seller Tips, to use PayPal Shipping Tool to get a tracking number items have been shipped, for the BUyer to have the opportunity to even leave Feedback about Shipping and Shipping & Handling is out of synch. THese Feedback categories should be linked directly to Canada Post & USPS not Sellers.
There is something defective in the system itself that eBay needs to recognize and upgrade. I am positive eBay.ca & eBay.com have not figured this out yet because in actual fact Buyers are not leaving'honest' feedback according to eBay Seller Tips, Canada Post & USPS site information and the Seller's Shipping section of the listing.
Or is this an open window so that by chance, eBay doesn't give an additional 20% discount to a Power Seller because of issues that have not been ironed out within the system?
The only aspect of Power Seller status is to give information to the CRA.

Feedback is the buyer's opinion. If he is unhappy, it is up to the seller to make him happy (which is not the same as rolling over).
Sellers can Respond to feedback. While the most effective Response is calm and factual, it is not required to be positive.
"Paid Nov 15, shipped Nov 16, received and fb left by Dec 1" puts the buyer on the defensive.
Worry more about what Detailed Seller Ratings an unhappy buyer has left
If your DSRs drop below 4.3, you will lose the improved visibility in Search and the fee discounts you get as a TopRated Seller and/or PowerSeller.

Tell me, have you ever supplied eBay with your SIN? Think about it.

"The only aspect of Power Seller status is to give information to the CRA."
As previously stated, that information is outdated and incorrect.
Financial information is given by eBay to CRA, regardless of your PowerSeller status. PS status is no longer required (it was in the first CRA court request five years ago). Currently, the criteria are dollar volume and/or number of transactions.
SIN numbers are also not required. CRA matches names and addresses supplied by eBay (and any other organization such as Canada Post, etc...) to every taxpayer. It may take them a few more minutes without SIN, that's all.
The same applies to PayPal.
As far as feedback is concerned, that decision is made by the buyer, not eBay. If the buyer is unhappy with the transaction, negative feedback is one of the few ways to express an opinion about the transaction. A few negative feedback over the years do not affect a seller's reputation.

For the sake of argument (slow today 🙂 ), if you use a PO Box for online sales it would be virtually impossible to match up eBay/CRA files in order to target potential auditees (if that is a word).
I am one of the lucky ones presently being audited by the CRA and when I asked the auditor what numbers had been reported by eBay she had no idea what I was talking about.
She wanted to see my monthly sales as recorded by eBay and then she compared that to deposits made to Paypal, which should not exceed your eBay sales - their reasoning is that individuals can have more than one selling account (and not declare all) but generally have only one Paypal account. We should all be running monthly detail reports from Paypal and ensuring that the numbers match eBay sales.
