ebay saying that manitoba+ontario are not aloud to sell tickets more than their face value. is it the same for quebec. no more call auction

the same law should be applied on all items sold on ebay ... you should not sell anything over their face value consequently on same occasion if there is a value on an collectable item of $ 10.00 you cannot sell it for $ 2,000.00 anymore ... imagine you cannot sell a silver dollar coin 1890 for more than a dollar

we have to ask the owners of any events organisation not to put the value on their tickets anymore therefore the law would be respected and we, and ebay, continue to make business

good idea ???

It is the government who makes the law with regards to selling

tickets,  Not ebay.

eBay is adhering to the law.

If you want the law changed petition your (Provincila) member of parliament.

You can resell tickets to entertainment events, including sporting events, concerts, and plays. However, when you list a ticket on eBay, you're responsible for making sure that selling your item doesn't violate any applicable laws. Make sure that you follow the specific guidelines for ticket resale prices in your area.

Quebec enacted legislation targeting businesses scalping in 2012. Not sure how eBay interprets.
