Bought pair of signal bulbs for my car here on Ebay. Their car compatibility widget checked out. Came 3x smaller, Chinese package (from US seller) and not fit in socket, too small. Maybe Mazda was not informed of this compatibility widget, so they did not make the car compatible with this bulb.
Stuff happens, and since I was replacing busted tail-light and it actually came with bulbs, I was not frustrated at all. So I told seller, send me label, I will drop it at PO. They started giving me round trip, explain, send pictures, explain again, etc. After 4th email, it was clear we are not getting anywhere and any further communication is just meaningless, so I opened SNAD. Then I got this:
blahblah ... We can issue you a full refund for the unfit item.
Usually we do require the item return back to us first before we can process refund.
But we are willing to make a exception for you if you can leave us a 5 star positive feedback.
If you accept this offer please kindly leave the positive feedback first. We will process refund once we receive your confirmation. ... blahblah
I am also a seller, and it happens that we send something wrong, it happens to any company out there, even the fortune 100 ones. If it's worth returning, we pay for return, if it's not, we process claim, return money and move on.
Hi Debby,
let me summarize the transaction so far:
1) You sell me bulb for Mazda Tribute 2006
2) Bulb I receive is not compatible with Mazda Tribute
3) You are "willing" to refund if ... blabla
Are you 12? Let me make you a counteroffer:
1) I will leave feedback you deserve.
2) Will call my bank and show them what I purchased and what I received.
3) You will be stuck with refund + CC charge-back fees.
To save everyone's time, it will be for the best you add me to your BBL.
Best regards
