The items are in Toronto which is in the country I am in. The prices are marked in both USD and CD, when I proceed to pay, I find the currency used is USD which means I need convert the currency from CD into USD and pay more than they are marked. I wanna know why does it come like this? If I want to pay by CD, how shall I do?

Hi nianeryue.. Payment on eBay is in the currency of the listing. The (C) provided by eBay is a guide only , not an actual retail cash rate.
Canadian sellers list in US dollars to be attractive to the much larger market to our south. The american consumer is not into currency conversion lol
PayPal automatically converts to cad to ding your bank or credit card and charges a competitive 2.5% fee.

You are required to pay in the same currency the item is listed in. As heidilynn said, the conversion is automatic.

If you really really want to pay in Canadian dollars, you can ask the seller BEFORE BIDDING.
Since this means you would have to be invoiced through Paypal and not through eBay/Paypal, you would be giving up some Buyer Protection.
Generally, the seller sets the cost and service he needs for shipping and is not required to change it. You may find your question makes him decide you are too high maintenance and Block you from bidding.
Canadians are the only nationality that is allowed to post in either our own loonies or in the USdollar.

Just use the PAY button and let paypal do the conversion.
It isn't rocket science.

You can contact the seller about paying in C$.
If you are in Toronto as well as the seller it is possible the seller would appreciate a pick-up in person with C$ cash payment.
Then both of you save on fx conversion rates charged by Paypal.
