may i withdraw a bid on an article still under bidding...i misread the size of the article and if someone puts in another bid before closin

i am bidding on a hermes shawl now and will stand by my present bid but if someone bids higher i would like to withdraw my higher bid...i missread the size of the article...shawls are usually larger than this one and this is barely more than a scarf and of no iuse to me. it is my mistake but i would hope someone would put in another bv=bid before closing in a couple of hours and you would not increase my bid to the maximum i placed in error.

Hi Sally.. sure i'm to late but buyers cannot cancel in the final 12 hours unless within an hour of placing. Can always ask seller to do..
