Hi...for you to have PP (PayPal) Seller Protection you must send the item to the address that PP gives you , if you do not then you have no protection, its your boat and you are the captian...its your call.

He can't add an American address to his British Paypal account. And you are not allowed to ask him for payment by International Postal Money Order, which would protect you.
If you have sent him a polite reply that says you cannot print out the shipping label until the purchase is paid, and that he would have to put the "correct" address into Paypal for you to make the label as he wants it, you put the ball back in his court.
Be aware that if he does end up paying the UK shipping he will not be happy.
Some sales are not worth having. Do NOT offer a Mutual Cancellation on this one. He will not be happy and he can leave feedback.

Oh! You don't have a shipping fee for UK shipping on your listing? And he did not ask for one in advance?
What you have is an Unwelcome Buyer.
This may go better than I feared.
