The account is still active, so it is a good thing. Maybe the person put her store on vacation? When you open the listing of an item you have bought, does it say on top that the seller is away for a few days? If that's the case, this is just it: seller had to go out of town for a few days.

Hello 'petervikki',

<<I have ordered numerous wedding dresses from this seller and today there is no store or items, I am a bit nervous about . . . items that are going to take up to 3 months to find out if the items will arrive>>

The seller's feedback is all quite good and nothing there should cause alarm.  If this is for made-to-order wedding apparel, perhaps she took her listings down to get caught up on her orders.

That said, you will not lose your money.  A 3-month special order may be way too long for an ebay claim.  On ebay, a buyer has 30 days after the last estimated date of delivery in which to file a claim:

http://pages.ebay.ca/help/buy/item-not-received.html#timeframes

Paypal, however, provides 180 days (nearly 6 months) from when you paid in which to file a claim.  That is loads of time, - but still, don't let it sneak by on you.  Section 13.5 of the Buyer Protection explains this:

https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/ua/useragreement-full#13

And of course, if keep an eye on the seller because if she suddenly becomes "Not a Registered User" that is a bad sign.  If you see that and you have no items or refund, nor communication from the seller, - file a claim straight away.

As an added note, -- I trust you have an alternate arrangement in mind in case the items arrive and don't fit, or are too late, or don't arrive, etc.  You will have made some sort of "Plan B" to cover any eventuality so that nothing ruins the Big Day, yes?

Wishing you all the best. Smiley Happy

I'd open an Item Not Recieved dispute immediately.

Get that $1000 back.

Chinese sellers of wedding gowns have a very poor reputation.

I hope you ordered a gown several sizes larger than you think you need, because they tend to cut very small and you will probably need a local seamstress to recut and fit it too you.

This is difficult when the gown is already too small.

FWIW, my mum was  a professional seamstress , apprenticed at 13, and sewed her last full wedding (bride and six bridesmaids) at 80.

Normally it took her less than a month and perhaps three fittings to produce a gown.

Start with a pattern and fabric and shop local.

While all the seller's feedback is positive, there are several complaints in the last month about slow delivery, no delivery, wrong colour and wrong size.
