Hi everyone i was bidding on an item and now somebody else bid 12 times to increase the price of my bid. That person has ZERO stars on their ebay account, no history of bidding in 30 days so its most likely a new account. Do you think the ebay seller made this account just to inflate his price? If so please help me report it...

Don't look like shill bidding to me. You made the first bid and the second bidder just kept bidding a couple dollars at a time to get ahead of you. I see another bidder had made a higher bid than both of you.

No, it's a newbie 'nibble bidding' because she doesn't understand how proxy bidding works.

A 'shill bidder' does not want to win. She wants you to win at your highest bid.

The usual suggestion is to put the item on your Watch List, bid once, bid your maximum and bid late.
