Beware any email you get about the coronavirus.
There has been a large increase worldwide in scam/malware emails that use the virus as the hook to get people to open them.

Did you happen to see all the re-sellers price gouging on hygiene products. Taking advantage of people during the Covid-19 pandemic. Wish eBay would do something about them. It is scandalous and I think quite immoral!

The most egregious ones are new sellers (mostly) listing at auction (mostly).
And the high prices are actually bids from, in my opinion, thrill bidders who think they are "teaching the scammers a lesson".
I saw one post on dotCOM about a toilet paper auction that had gone to $3500-- but the seller had started it at around $25 and 62 bidders had pushed it up to ridiculous heights.
What do you think are the chances of the seller being paid?

The best things people who come upon these sellers is; report the seller of the particular company/organization, then send copies to different media sources. The only thing that works with these (four letter expletive of your choice) is to publicly shame them. Every other reaction(s) don't work the indivduals just laugh it off and try again. And they have the gall to do it all over again. Just like the asian couple that were selling masks and sanitizer in Ottawa for 3-4 times the normal retail price, were fined then showed up at the same park the next day. Even fines sometimes don't work. Shame them, publish/show their names on mass media ruin whatever reputations they might/may have in the future. These people are the scum of society!
