Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris France is Burning

This is for everyone that has ever been to Paris  or has thought about architecture, history, artwork, church music, religion and religious artifacts......  many items that sell on eBay.

Watching TV is my way of working on eBay with a background of "noise".   Today the noise has been CNN for several hours.

and then came the news that ........

......   Notre  Dame Cathedral   .... is burning....  now for many hours, and  with a fire that is  very difficult to put out 

Easter is this next weekend and many crucifixion artifacts may be gone.

I was in the Cathedral in Strasbourg, France as a teenager. Remember how overwhelming it was even at that early age in life. Even climbed as far as you could climb in the steeple. 700 + steps. You could see for miles and everyone below looked like ants. I can only imagine how impressive the one is Paris was.  And for it to be gone in a blink. So sadddd!!

I've been checking on stories throughout the day on this, hoping (increasingly against hope) that it won't be a total loss. 

My heart breaks for so much history lost in an instant.
