Setting a bad example.

Shouldn't this person be on the other side of the road?

As per section 179 of the Highway Traffic Act ?

Duties of pedestrian when walking along highway - 179.

(1) Where sidewalks are not provided on a highway, a pedestrian walking along the highway shall walk on the left side thereof facing oncoming traffic and, when walking along the roadway, shall walk as close to the left edge thereof as possible. R.S.O. 1990, c. H.8, s. 179 (1).

Well it would be the wisest decision, but I see people running, walking (even with kids in a stroller) and people in electric wheelchairs etc etc on the wrong side of the road all the time.

It's really a bad ad, I hope they didn't pay too much for it.

I also encounter joggers on the wrong side of the road frequently they also seem to think red lights and do not walk signals mean slow down for 2.5 seconds however as Kathleen Wynne is in a position of authority She should be setting a good example for others.

Particularly so far as obeying the law.

That was obviously made as a 'commercial'. In reality she probably jogs in private areas and followed by an armed guard. The whole ad in my view is very amateurishly done.
