First off tyler, thank you for being here, you don't know how much you are appreciated when it comes to answering questions regarding ebay.
I hate to sound like a broken record, but I must ask if. or when might the starter store arrive in Canada? Being able to put your items on sale, or put them on vacation for times when life throws a curve at you, is absolutely necessary sometimes. I guess the question is, how is it working in the US?
I know many do not like having to go to GTC's, but I do like the way ebay changed the way they relist, so they stay on the same day of the month, and not creep into the next month.
I am also looking forward to seeing how giving offers to watchers works, even though many who have been here for awhile know, not all watchers are buyers. Some are sellers checking to see if it will sell at that price. Still an option that might increase sales, so "watching" to see how this one works.

As of late, the majority (5 out of the last 7) of "Best Offers" that have come in have not shown up as an email, only if/when I click on my notification thingy do I know there is an offer. Not that much a biggie but, this does not indicate when the offer came in. Quirk? By design? Summer holidays?

Hi wound up in the hospital over the weekend for emergency surgury. All is well but I ran into a small problem. Normally my husband packs everthing and I do all ther rest, so I had to talk him through everyting by phone. My husband is clueless on the computer so thank goodness I have a son who went over to help him. My question is how do I send somene an invoice from my phone so they could pay the right shipping? I can't find the option anywhere

Why can't ebay make a rule that says you can't give bad feedback unless you have contacted the seller first? I just got bad feedback for a lousy $3.00 patch. I would have gladly sent a new one or refunded the payment. I'm sure every seller on ebay would appreciate this and it wouldn't hurt the buyer in any way

Hi @amcdc79 - happy to be here and to help out. 🙂
I don't have any information on when Starter stores are coming to eBay Canada. I do know that they haven't been cancelled as a roll-out, they are still planned. I don't have a date for you at this point.
I'm excited for offers to watchers as well - I know it's a tool that we've all wanted for you to get your hands on as quickly as possible, and the rumblings are that it's getting rolled out 'very soon'. Thanks!

Hi @snoopwiz - definitely seems odd, to be sure. There aren't any reported tech issues with this at the moment. Before I pursue that report, would you mind checking to make sure that 'eBay@eBay.com' isn't on a spam filter on your email account? You could also whitelist the domain @ebay.com to make sure that you receive everything we send from that address. Thanks!

Hi Tom!
I replied to your post a bit ago (link to it here). As a quick overview, eBay Customer Support is able to help you via IP-relay calls. We do also offer support via social media accounts on both Facebook and Twitter. Thanks!

Hi @bunbar - sorry to hear that you're laid up, and wishing you a speedy recovery!
The mobile app can't send an invoice right now (it's the most requested feature though, so I'm hopeful we'll see it added in the future).
What you can do in the mean time is use a mobile browser on your device and choose the 'classic site' view at the bottom of the eBay page. That will take you to the classic eBay site and let you log in and provide you with the options you're used to seeing. Thanks!

Definitely not on a spam filter and no idea what whitelisting the domain means. This issue has only gotten to be an issue in the past week or so, never before...at least not to this degree.

Hi @bunbar - getting a negative when it was a situation you could have addressed for a customer is really frustrating!
Ultimately, feedback participation is already low enough that it is not an accurate reflection of the hard work you put into your business. That's why we don't use it when evaluating your performance monthly. Instead, we rely on factors you have much more control over that look at the entire breadth of your business instead of the opinions of a small percentage of your buyers.
Adding another impediment to allowing members to leave feedback would typically see a decline in participation overall and that's not something we want to see.
You can always leave a reply to the feedback, or you could consider reaching out to the member and seeing if you can make the situation right, after which they may be open to revising the feedback (if you have any revisions left for the year). Thanks!

Thanks for the follow up! If you're receiving other emails from eBay@eBay.com (like 'sold' emails, 'listing confirmed' emails, etc) then it's probably not an email service issue. I'll see about getting it reported from my end!
