So a ebay representative just called me back as I enquired about ebay managed payments. She informed me that as a resident of Canada I can no longer list on ebay.com and need to switch the 200 plus listings over to ebay.ca.
Thanks ebay only 99% of my sales are to the US and its so easy to manually switch over 200 listings to ebay.ca right?

Why wouldn't they be able to list on .ca? Where do you see that?

There is this discussion message 32. I saw it somewhere in another discussion but unable to locate right now. Was news to me also but right about now nothing would surprise me 1 way or the other.

Just more misunderstandings but this time it's US sellers not getting it. Probably because of Canadian sellers who misunderstand and then post on the .com boards.
I'd bet if you surveyed US Sellers, few would know that it is possible (always has been) to list on sites other than .com.
I still see posts on the US Boards suggesting sellers in China or Japan or Brazil etc. to list on their own sites (which don't exist!).

Sellers in MP are blocked from listing on marketplaces that do not have Managed Payments.
So until Canada goes live with MP -- US sellers already in MP are blocked.
