Continued fake bidders on item causing me to relist 7 times now

Hi,

I've now had my item go to 7 day auction 7 times, and every time the winner is a brand new account from the Phillipines and does not respond or pay.  Clearly they've setup a US mailing address cause I've blocked bidding for non US addresses.

I block them as a bidder and they just make new accounts.  I look at the bid history as well and block the accounts that are brand new from Phillipines that they used to bid up my item with as well. Item is a reasonably valuable sports card.

At this point someone there is clearly trolling me and/or bidding my item up because they have a similar item they are trying to sell and want to get more money.

I've put on all the blocking options eBay gives in the Block Bidder Buyer's Management section.

Please tell me there is something I can do?

Thius is how it goes if you use the Auction format for this type of stuff.....people either play non-lethal games or they inend to rip you off.

Fixed Price with Immediate Payment Required is the answer.

Agree with @recped  that Fixed Price with Immediate Payment Required is the way to go now.  WIth that many auctions you have a pretty good idea what the going price is.

But, I would consider taking it off the market for 2-3 months.  Whoever is playing around may pay for it then claim there is a defect.  Taking a pause can hopefully take it off their radar.

You could go to one of the written customer support groups (Chat, FaceBook, Twitter) and explain the problem. Have the thrill bidding IDs handy.

These are manned by eBay employees, not subcontractors like the phones. They actually seem to have some authority.
