I had a listing (on my store ID) and had to revise it and remove one word from the description. I've never had to do this before. I had a bid, so informed the bidder and let her know I had to cancel her bid before I could revise. Did so, but was still unable to revise listing and finally had to end item and relist it. Even though I had cancelled her bid it still showed and I had to cancel again, second time it worked. Did I do it incorrectly? I thought if I cancelled the bid, I could revise the listing right away. Was I supposed to wait until next day or something for the listing ending to take effect?

You cannot revise a listing once it has a bid.
Things can sometimes take a while to work through their computers.

Thanks MrE. I did finally have to cancel and re-list. My wonderfully patient bidder has now re-bid again (3rd time). If she wins the item, I will re-invoice her in order to give her free shipping. Its the least I can do.
