Hi,
I have put a few listings on eBay.ca for Canadian buyers only and the views have been abysmal as these listings do not show up at all on eBay.com. My question is, it is possible to list on eBay.com and limit shipping to Canada only? This would allow my listings to show on eBay.com, but make them only available to Canadian users browsing the site. I can't seem to do it, but my account is quite old, and it existed before eBay.ca was even a thing.

The work around it to have a high fixed shipping amount that is high enough to cover shipping and the worst case scenario for tariffs - i.e. ensures no US sales.

I don't think so. In order to list on .com you need to have shipping to the US. Now you could make the shipping so high that you will not get any US buyers.

No, it's not possible to list on .com and limit your shipping to Canada.
I think that even if you were able to list on .com with shipping restricted to Canada, your views would still be low simply because the pool of Canadian buyers on eBay just isn't that large compared to that of the US. Remember, Canada's population is about the same as that of California.

And a much smaller economy.
California alone is supposed to be the fourth largest in the world.

Absolutely.
And the proportion of Californians who use eBay is also likely larger than the proportion of Canadians who use eBay.

Probably the best solution for me, though I run auctions, so getting a precise amount to cover the tariffs is sometimes tricky. Even if our costs are covered with a bigger shipping fee, it still could be a bit of a bad look from a business standpoint, as Americans may think my shipping is high on everything if they just see these isolated listings.

I raised the shipping so that on smaller items the tariffs are covered (maybe not if I sell something really expensive, but for most items up to $30 the shipping fee should cover the tariff). The fee is not outrageous and people in the US are still buying my items, it's just turning into 2-3 sales a week instead of 2-3 sales per day.

The postal strike is my problem.
Overseas sales seem to be up a little, but I just had a $300 sale to Czechia which I would normally ship for $19 (my cost might be a little higher with Canada Post) will cost me $212 to ship by UPS.
But of course, private couriers are so much more efficient and cheaper than the postal service.

What specific shipping service should I select for my listings where I can boost the shipping to like $100 per item? I sell DVDs mostly and the max amount I can charge for my shipping services is $20. eBay sets a cap on a lot of the services. So if I can do a bulk edit to ALL listings to some crazy ship amount, I'll do it. Stallion Express's processes are horrendous and their site is horribly clunky/homemade, so at the moment I'd rather ignore Stallion for US orders as well as American orders. Simply do not have the time to F around. lol
